Terms of Use: Mobile Optical Services - Prizma Optic
Introduction
Prizma Optic (hereinafter: "the Company") provides mobile optical services, including eye examinations, prescription eyewear fitting, and the sale of frames and lenses. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for these services.
1. Definitions
- Customer: Any individual or entity ordering services from the Company.
- Service: Mobile optical services, including eye examinations and the sale of frames and lenses.
- Products: Prescription glasses, optical lenses, sunglasses, prescription sunglasses, and related items.
2. Services
The Company offers mobile optical services, including eye examinations and prescription eyewear fitting. All eye examinations are performed exclusively by licensed professionals.
3. Delivery Times
Product delivery times following the placement of an order:
- Stock Lenses: 1-7 business days (in most cases within 72 hours of ordering).
- Custom Manufactured Lenses (including Multifocal): 5-17 business days.
4. Promotions and Discounts
Promotions offered at the physical branch locations are not valid for mobile optical services, and vice versa. The Company reserves the right to modify promotions at its discretion.
5. Eye Examinations
5.1. The cost of an eye examination is ₪500 (covering up to 5 people; ₪50 for each additional person).
5.2. Pricing is determined according to Company policy and is subject to change.
5.3. To book an eye examination, the customer must pay a ₪500 deposit, which represents the full examination price. Examinations must be scheduled in advance.
5.4. Mobile eye examinations are available exclusively for businesses or groups of at least 5 people.
5.5. For the avoidance of doubt, if the customer chooses not to purchase eyewear, the deposit paid for the eye examination will not be refunded.
5.6. Customers may order mobile optical services without an eye examination. Lenses may be ordered based on the prescription of previous eyewear (subject to lens condition) or based on a personal prescription. In such cases, no advance deposit is required.
5.7. Eye examinations may be canceled up to 48 hours prior to the appointment for a full refund.
5.8. In-home eye examinations for private individuals are offered only in exceptional cases (by prior arrangement via WhatsApp).
6. Order Cancellation
6.1. If a customer cancels an order after it has been confirmed, they will be refunded the transaction amount minus a clearance fee of 5% or ₪100 (whichever is lower) and a "cancellation fee." Furthermore, if an eye examination has already been performed, the examination fee or "deposit" will not be refunded.
6.2. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Company’s customer service department via email at: nayedet@prizma-optic.co.il.
7. Returns and Exchanges
- Custom-made products, including prescription glasses, lenses, and prescription sunglasses, cannot be returned or exchanged unless a lack of adaptation is proven by a Company optometrist.
- No refunds will be issued for products with a list price exceeding ₪1,799.
- Contact lenses or solutions with opened packaging cannot be returned. For prescription changes, exchanges must be handled at the store.
- All requests will be reviewed by the Company in accordance with its policies.
8. Privacy and Data Security
8.1. The Company undertakes to protect the privacy of customers' personal information in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law.
8.2. Collected information will be used solely for the provision of services.
9. Jurisdiction
Any dispute between the customer and the Company shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Tel Aviv area.
10. Policy Updates
The Company reserves the right to update this policy periodically. Any changes will be published on the website.
11. Warranty
11.1. Product warranties are subject to the Consumer Protection Law (1981) and the terms of this policy.
11.2. The warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase and covers manufacturing defects only.
11.3. The warranty does not cover breakage, lens scratches, or damage resulting from unreasonable use.
12. Lack of Adaptation
Upon the delivery of first-time multifocal glasses, the customer will receive guidance from a licensed Prizma Optic optometrist regarding the fastest adaptation process. Adaptation may take from a few hours to several months. A warranty covering lack of adaptation is provided for multifocal lenses purchased at Prizma Optic. The customer is entitled to a 3-month adaptation period starting from the date the glasses are received. Selecting the correct lens for the customer's needs facilitates faster adaptation. The eyes must adjust to seeing through a multifocal lens; therefore, patience and a willingness to adapt are required. Approximately 80% of successful adaptation depends on the customer's commitment. Following the adaptation period, vision will feel more natural and comfortable. In cases of non-adaptation, we will invite you for a free re-examination at our store and replace the product at no additional cost.
